Chadillac Trails Jam, Spring 2011

These pictures are from the annual “4-20 Jam” at the infamous “Chadillac Trails” in Coweta, OK.  Chad Brock owns and maintains the trails with the help of lots of BMX buddies.  The shredder in the red shirt is Alex Vazquez who rides for Sputnic BMX.

“Tina”

I took these pics for my good buddy Jake, aka “J.Dewey”.  The truck is named “Tina” because she is a fat lard that likes to drink her gas, LOL!

Burk’s Chop Shop

I spent some time out of my good buddy Travis Burk’s shop, A.K.A. Burk’s Chop Shop, today.  In the first and third photo is Nathaniel “Lowe”, who is Travis’s assistant around the shop, and in the sixth and seventh photos is Mr. Travis (MFN) Burk, himself. Burks Chop Shop does almost anything and everything automotive; although the shop specializes in custom air ride suspension, lift kits, exhaust, custom tires and wheels, and basic mechanical services.

Simply Snow

Mr. Eric Michalski and myself made a trip out to the Okmulgee Lake dam today to see what it looked like covered in snow.  We figured it might make for some cool photos, I think we were right!

Squidbillies DVD Interface Design

This is a fictional DVD interface I built for a fictional season of Squidbillies. I styled it after Andy Worhol’s work. It was a lot of fun to do and I think it turned out pretty cool!

Upcoming vid teaser!

This is a SHORT teaser for my upcoming web video feature a couple of my buddies trucks!

New lens!

I picked up a Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II and these are the first shots out of the box.

Images were captured with my Canon T2i and EF 50mm f/1.8 II

The first shot is at f/3.5 and the second at f/1.8. When shooting at f/1.8 its actually pretty hard to get a good crisp focus. The lens is pretty noisy and feels cheaply made, but that was expected for less than $100.

Underground Tulsa

John and I made a little trip to visit the side of Tulsa that not many people get to see, the side that is below the streets you drive on and the buildings you live in.  It wasn’t creepy, it wasn’t scary, there were no HUGE sewer rats, and NO ZOMBIES!  Just some cool looking tunnels!

Images were captured with my Canon T2i and EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 USM lens.

Okmulgee Train Station

This is what is left of Okmulgee’s Train Station that serviced the Frisco railroad.  It was built in the early 1900′s, I am not sure when it was closed down.

Images were captured with my Canon T2i and EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 USM lens.

The Canyon

I had a little bit of free time this weekend, so I made a trip into the huge canyon that is just behind our house.  Found some pretty cool stuff.

Images were captured with my Canon T2i and EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 USM lens.

Okmulgee at night!

I got bored Monday night and decided to go see what interesting shots I could find around Okmulgee at night.  This is what I found.

Images were captured with my Canon T2i and EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 USM lens.

Tulsa Import Faceoff 2010

Images were captured with my Canon T2i and EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 USM lens.

Beggs Elementary School

This is an abandoned elementary school in Beggs, Ok. It hasn’t been abandoned too awfully long, but it made for some good pics!
